You don’t need permission to take up space.

Therapy for adults who are tired of performing, surviving, and second-guessing themselves — in their relationships, their sexuality, and everywhere else.

You’re wondering if something’s wrong with you — if everyone else feels this exhausted and just doesn’t say it. From the outside, life looks fine. From the inside, you’re not so sure.

You say yes when you mean no.  You avoid conflict instead of engaging.  You can barely remember what fun felt like, let alone pleasure and desire.

At night, the thoughts don’t stop.  What if, what if, what if — replaying every decision you made today, at work, at home, with the people you care about.

You’ve lost pieces of yourself taking care of everyone else.  You just care so much about them.  But you’re more than what’s happening right now, and more than what you’ve lived through.

My clients are capable, caring, and introspective people who look like they have it together to everyone else. They understand themselves better than most — but they still feel stuck, and tired from trying so hard for so long.  Change feels risky or like an indication that something negative is coming.  They’re worried that doing things differently means hurt and rejection, loss of control and safety, judgment.

That fear keeps them from opening up to other possibilities — to trusting themselves, to the kind of intimacy and desire they actually want, however that looks for them. (After all, there’s a whole world out there.)  They aren’t the partner, professional, or parent they’re trying to be.

Maybe you’re wondering if things are “bad enough” to justify therapy, or you’re worried that revisiting the past will trap you there.  You don’t need to be falling apart to deserve support, and this isn’t about dredging up old stuff just to stay there.

I work with emotionally insightful adults ready to make sense of their patterns, reconnect with themselves, and show up differently in the life they’ve already built — including in the parts of life that feel too private, too complicated, or too tender to bring up with just anyone.  You could keep doing this on your own — but harder isn’t the same as better, and it’s definitely not the same as happier.

Even though now feels hard, you can choose you more.  I’d be glad to help with that.

A few of the places we might start, depending on what's coming up for you.
